Had a wonderful time speaking on the 6th Annual ‘Tunes for Toons’ SCL panel. It was an honor to share insights scoring animation films alongside so many talented composers.

While each project will present its own challenges and opportunities, are there similarities when composing for multiple mediums? Joy Ngiaw is winner for Best Original Score - Animated Short BLUSH (Apple) Presented by composer Kathryn Bostic.

Joy Ngiaw has been hired to score the upcoming Netflix original film Rescued by Ruby. The movie is directed by Katt Shea (Poison Ivy, The Rage: Carrie 2) and stars Grant Gustin, Kaylah Zander, Camille Sullivan, Tom McBeath, Sharon Taylor and Eileen Pedde.

I'm so excited that a Disney VR animated short I've scored, 'A Kite's Tale' will be premiering at this year's SIGGRAPH Computer Animation Festival! It was such an incredible experience to score this innovative and adorable film and I'm extremely grateful to be part of the team.
